Q. What kind of access codes will I need?

That's kind of a loaded question because there are a variety of access codes and I'm not sure if you have a specific one in mind. Here are some of the various access codes you will need:

• Access to my room - That is built into Move-In Day and you will get setup and assistance at that time.
• Access to library databases from off-campus - Use your HCU Network ID and password (same as logging into the HCU Portal.
• Access to HCU systems. You can see follow our HCU Technical Resources tutorial about this.

Note: Unfortunately, the magnetic strip on your ID card will not work for everything on campus. It can also be used as a declining balance card in some areas on campus such as the bookstore and Dining Services but you need to work with the HCU bookstore (281-649-3258) and Aramark Dining individually to set it up.
