If you are a Resident (live on campus) then Housing would be the department that can answer your question.
If you are a commuter, then what will happen is that we can refund you the money you paid for the first meal plan and just charge you the difference for the second (lower cost) meal plan.
As you know, residents have the ability to change their meal plan during the first two weeks of the school semester. When you make a change, the cost difference between the meal plans will be prorated. In your case of switching to a lower meal plan, you will see your account credited the difference between the two meal plans. You should see a credit with the difference on your account.
