Q. How do I start an online course?

Once you are registered and have all the login issues resolved you would go to Blackboard. The easiest way is via the My.HC.edu portal page. Look for the "HCU Classes" icon with a blackboard icon. Each course has its own page so that will give you more specifics. Blackboard should be available about one week before classes start so you can begin reviewing materials.

Each Blackboard course will have a syllabus. Between the course page and the syllabus, all the instructions you need for online work will be there. You can contact your professor for problems or specifics. For ITS help, call 281-649-3410.
