I presume you are referring to the hanging indent used in APA formating. Actually, the solution is pretty easy. Copy and paste your information or just type it in manually. Make sure the general formatting is correct:

  • Margins (normal settings in Word at 1 inch)
  • San Serif font (such as Times New Roman, 12 pt.)
  • Double-spaced.
  • Left-aligned.

After entering your data, click in front of the second line and press Enter and then immediately press the Tab key. That will move your line down, and the tab will properly indent it. Here is a neat YouTube click that describes how to do it. it also covers APA general style and information about annotations as well. That may be extra for your need but it is good to know!
