Q. Why do I get a security exception when I try to use the library databases?

This is an Information Technology issue and our Information Techology Services department is aware of the issue and is working on the problem. The message is rather foreboding. If you can see the details, the certificate is good until 2014 but the company's certicate is not recognized by Firefox, Goodle Chrome for Mac, and Safari. Solution:

1. Follow the instructions on the screen and add the library server to your exception list. The resulting messages may look ominous but we can assure that the server is safe.

2. This exception only covers the library server and no other server. If you have any questions or issues, please contact the Systems Librarian at 281-649-3182.
