In general, no, it won't. Student organizations build character and, rightly organized, can provide valuable networking connections for jobs and more when you graduate; however, the bottom line is that you have to be disciplined to manage your time. Others can't do it for you. The more you spend on extracurricular activities, the more it cuts into your available time. Be wise!
