When you click any database from our Databases page or LibGuide, you will be taken to an HCU login page. The background image is a photo of the library. Just input your HCU email address and password just as if you were going to My HCU Portal.

If you are having difficulty with your password, you can to to My HCU Portal and reset it. If you have any problems with your password, you will need to call 281-649-3410 (HCU ITS). If you have problems connecting to databases, try suggestions on our Database Access Troubleshooting LibGuide.

NOTES:

  1. When using HCU OneSearch from off-campus, you will often see a pale yellow bar about logging in. If you already have logged in, click the button; otherwise, login to continue.
  2. If you are using an EBSCO database and see a Sign In button, you do not need to click it as you have already logged in. This is to sign into a special personalized EBSCO account to save your research, which you can create, if you choose.
  3. If you continue to have problems, please call 281-649-3180 and ask to speak with a librarian.
  4. Those not affiliated with HCU can only use the databases from inside the library.
