Q. Where can I get practice for the Reading Proficiency Test?

Since RPE is a pre-THEA exam, THEA test preparation materials are also appropriate to utilize for RPE. A limited number of THEA Study Guides are available for check out from Testing Services located on the first floor of Moody Library.  One must be a currently enrolled HCU student in order to check out resources. The THEA website also offers some practice exercises. If you have additional questions that this page does not answer, you can contact The Learning Center.

Testing Services is closed if the University is closed due to weather conditions or other emergencies.  To see if HCU is closed due to an emergency, check at www.hc.edu/alerts.  Examinees scheduled for a test date that is cancelled due to university closing will be able to reschedule their exam.
