That depends. First, the Library has a small collection of textbooks available for checkout on the second floor. Checkout times vary from 24 hours to three days depending on the number of copies we have.

Second, you can check the HCU Bookstore.

Third, books may be in the Reserve collection at the Circulation Desk. Just tell the worker at the desk what you need and give them the professor's name and course name. Be aware of several things:

  • Checkout times will vary. Most items on reserve are not available for overnight checkout. Reserves can be as little as two hours in the building only (most reserves are like this) but can be longer.
  • You can accrue fines for OVERDUE books. Turn your materials in on time or you can run the risk of paying a much higher fine! Remember, these are items your fellow classmates need.
