First, look for any kind of HBU branding. There should be some kind of indicator. It could be the HBU in a blue box, it might be the orange banner, it might be HBU Answers. If you see that, the 99.9% of the time, it will be free barring unusual circumstances.
If you can't get to it via OneSearch, then try going directly to ScienceDirect. Since you already know the article and that it came from ScienceDirect, we can come at from this way. Go back to the library home page, click "Finding Articles with Databases," then click ScienceDirect on the left side of the page. I'm assuming you've already logged in with your HBU username and password. You should see a box in the upper right corner of the window saying, "Brought to you by Houston Baptist University, Moody Library."
