Incoming students should refer to the bookstore website for important updates on such information. The first business day of the appointed month the semester starts is typically when information is posted on the bookstore website. Customers will find pricing, format (digital, rental, bundle (book and courseware -access code, etc.),  and availability (in stock vs out of stock).

The bookstore receives shipments daily. Since the bookstore staffing situation is modest (maybe 2-3 full-time workers to account for all online and campus students), we ask that patience and understanding be sought when it comes to the availability of course materials. It is preferred that students place their orders online since in-person help is not a guarantee.

Here are the different formats offered in the bookstore:

  • digital e-text and/or access code (provided by the company VitalSource-students must set up an account with their most used email address)
  • inclusive access or IA (please refer here to bookstore websites FAQs).

These are appointed by the department and students have their course materials on Day 1 at an affordable price if they stay opted in.

  • paperbackloose-leaf (3- Hole page style books)
  • bundles (this means there is a book-more often than not, loose-leaf and it comes BUNDLED with an access code or courseware required for the course),
  • rentals ( publisher-appointed books due back to storethe  during finals/buyback week), and
  • hardback.
