You can make purchases in the bookstore and show your ID card and they can charge the books to your student account. For more information on how this works, you can contact the bookstore at (281) 649-3258Also,

There are several ways to get books for your classes. After you know your class schedule, section number, and professor, you can

  1. University Bookstore - Go to the HCU bookstore website at https://www.hcubookstore.com/. There is a search box there to search for your books. If you have any questions, their contact information is there. For on-campus courses, there is a textbook rental program.
  2. Library Textbook Reserves - If you are taking classes on campus, you can visit the Library's Textbook Reserve Collection on the second floor of the library. Many (not all) textbooks are there available for short-term checkout. Due to popularity, textbooks are checked out for 24 hours (some for longer if we have multiple copies).

The bookstore also has supplemental online resources such as Chalk.
