The Early Alert Referral System is a software program that enables instructors to identify students having difficulties in their classes and connect them with campus services to help. Don't panic if you should get one. This is not any kind of punishment. HCU is committed to having successful students. This is your professor's way of connecting a student with an academic issue with the right person/people who can best help move past the problem and onward to success. If you get a notice, be sure to read the whole message and follow the instructions. Our professors really do care about their students and want to help any they can to keep you moving toward your academic goals when first noticed rather than delay assistance when problem might start to amass.
