If a student is not a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and are coming from overseas, they are considered an international student and will need to go through the International Office for guidance on the admissions process. Please see www.hc.edu/international for more information.

Students who only speak Spanish will not be able to participate in classes at HCU, as our primary mode of instruction is English. International students coming to the U.S. on an F-1 visa are required to show English proficiency through one of several options. Please see this page regarding English proficiency for more information.

For those students who do not yet have the English proficiency needed for HCU’s academic programs, we suggest contacting one of our partner English Language Programs. More information about these partner programs can be on the English proficiency page.
