The Office of Admissions at HCU takes several factors into account when making an admissions decision.  Test scores from the SAT or ACT, along with high school class rank and/or high school GPA do weigh heavily into admission decisions.  For this reason, we encourage freshman applicants to take the SAT more than once, or to take both the SAT and ACT.

Other factors include if the student has taken AP or IB courses as well as extracurricular activities.
