General

ID Photos can be made in the Library at the Circulation Desk. Here is some other useful information about ID cards.

  • Free for in-coming students.
  • Your ID card can be associated with special accounts like the bookstore and campus eating plans. Bookstore purchases are restricted to books and supplies, not clothing and snacks. Resident students select a meal plan and a declining balance that is tied to your financial account. Commuter students can choose a Commuter Dining Plan which is also associated with their ID cards. You will have to speak with the Bookstore and Dining Hall personnel about setting up a declining balance.
  • You cannot use ID card for printing or copying in the library.
  • You will need ID cards to use the study rooms, entrance into the Wellness Center, and HCU sporting events.

Online Students

  • The library makes no-photo IDs for online students. You can make your request to moodylibrary@hc.edu.

Lost Cards

  • Replacement IDs are $10.00.
  • Replacement IDs with Meal Plans are $25.00 to replace.
    • If you believe your card was stolen, please contact the police and file a report first.
    • Replacement Process
      • The $25.00 covers the cost of two cards: a regular ID (H-number) plus another ID with a different number associated with your meal plan.
      • The library will notify Aramark (campus dining services).
      • You will need to show the new ID meal plan card (M-number) to Aramark to get your meals.
        • For meal plan questions, please contact Benny Gilbert in Aramark.
