Q. How do I take the ETS Essay?

Our understanding is that if you are asked to do the ETS Essay then you have a set of instructions. There should be a spare set of instructions at the Reference Desk, if needed. Those instructions give you a web site that uses a secure browser. You can access that browser several ways:

• From the desktop (ETS Browser),
• My Documents (look for ETS), or
• the web site (go to http://proficiencyprofile.ets.org)

We should be OK to run the browser but the instructions do say to check the system. If you have any problems, call the ETS Coordinator at 281-649-3639.
